History
The European Bonsai Association was formed in 1984.
Aims
The Aims of EBA as set down by its original Bye-laws are: within the bounds of a non-profit association, to promote bonsai art and culture generally. this may be done by :
Acting as a stimulus to its members, through teaching all aspects of the art and science of bonsai.
Promoting bonsai to the general public.
Organising meetings, exhibitions, demonstrations, publications, etc.
Producing a European Newsletter to act as 8 forum for enthusiasts to exchange ideas and set up co-operative projects, especially those relating to European flora.
Promoting the formation of non-profit making associations in those countries where none or several bonsai clubs or organisations exist.
Fanno parte dell'EBA i seguenti Paesi: Austria, Belgio, Repubblica Ceca, Danimarca, Francia, Germania, Italia, Lituania, Principato di Monaco, Olanda, Polonia, Portogallo, San Marino, Slovacchia, Slovenia, Spagna, Svezia, Svizzera, Regno Unito.
